Jol rules out permanent move for Emanuelson

22 April 2013 19:24

Fulham boss Martin Jol has dismissed any chances of a permanent approach for on-loan midfielder Urby Emanuelson.

The AC Milan playmaker has become a popular fixture at Craven Cottage since moving in January and put in an impressive performance against in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.

However, despite his good form, Jol insists there is no chance of being able to tie him to the club on a full-time basis.

"You could see [on Saturday] that Urby is a nice, technical crowd-pleaser," Jol told The Fulham and Hammersmith Chronicle.

"But there is not an option on him, because it would be impossible to buy him."

However, Jol will be able to call on the services of Alex Kacaniklic, with the 21-year-old now back from his spell on loan at Burnley.

The promising youngster started the game against Arsenal and says he is now back where he wants to be long-term.

"I was happy with my performance. I am happy to be back," the winger said. "It was my decision to go on loan because I was not playing too much here.

"I think I am in the manager's thoughts, and the club's thoughts."
