Liga Sagres wrap: Benfica still undefeated

Oscar Cardozo scored a double for league leaders Benfica in a 3-0 win over Nacional on Sunday.

Jesus Jesus' men had to wait until after half-time to make the break through, with Cardozo netting in the 51st and 89th minutes either side of Rodrigo's strike.

Benfica remain undefeated from three games, ahead of second-placed Porto on goal difference.

Moreirense moved up to third with a 1-1 draw at Beira Mar courtesy of Ricardo Pessoa's first-half penalty.

Following their penalty shootout win over Udinese on Wednesday to reach the Champions League group stage, Sporting Braga fell to a 2-0 defeat at Pacos de Ferreira.

Gil Vicente and Vitoria Setubal played out a goalless draw with neither having registered a win this season.

Meanwhile, Rio Ave could not break through in a scoreless drought at home to Academica de Coimbra.
