Championship wrap: Palace rally to beat Burnley in thriller

Crystal Palace came from behind for a second straight match at home to snatch a 4-3 win over Burnley in the Championship on Saturday.

Having gone 2-0 down inside the first half-hour at Selhurst Park, Palace hit back with four goals, two from Wilfried Zaha either side of half-time to level the scores.

Defender Damien Delaney deservedly put Palace ahead and Glenn Murray added the fourth before a shell-shocked Burnley struck again through the in-form Charlie Austin to make it 4-3 with nine minutes to play.

Elsewhere, a Luciano Becchio penalty gave Leeds a 1-0 victory over Yorkshire rivals Barnsley at Elland Road.

Leicester remain second after a 2-0 win over Bristol City at home.

David Nugent was on target in the first half for the Foxes and defender Richard Foster was the unlucky visiting player to head into his own net and make it 2-0 in the second half.

Bakary Sako scored the only goal for Wolverhampton Wanderers in a 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

Wolves move up to third while Blackburn drop out of the playoff places after the loss.

Huddersfield piled the misery on struggling Birmingham with a 1-0 win that leaves the Blues only three points above the drop zone.

Charlton earned a precious 2-0 win away to high-flying Blackpool, with Leon Cort and Chris Solly netting for Chris Powell's side.

Millwall moved out of the bottom three with a 2-1 win over Bolton thanks to a late winner from Darius Henderson, his second of the game.

Scott McDonald scored the winner for Middlesbrough in a 2-1 win over Watford at Vicarage Road.

In other results, Derby County played out a goalless draw with visiting Brighton, bottom side Peterborough made it six straight home losses to start the season with a 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest and Hull edged Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 away from home.
