Van Hooijdonk prefers Huntelaar over RVP

Former Netherlands international Pierre van Hooijdonk believes Klaas-Jan Huntelaar should start ahead of Robin van Persie at Euro 2012.
Both strikers have been in superb goalscoring form for their respective clubs during the 2011-12 campaign but the Oranje tend to line up with only one out-and-out forward.
Despite Van Persie grabbing 30 goals in the Premier League for Arsenal last term, Van Hooijdonk claims it is the Schalke forward who performs better for the Dutch national side.
"Robin had a great year at Arsenal, but we are talking about the Dutch national team and as a striker, he has not yet succeeded," the former Feyenoord man told
NUsport.
"Klaas rises to the occasion for the Oranje more than Robin. Klaas is naturally more of a number nine, he has a better killer instinct."
Van Hooijdonk, who retired from football in 2007, made 46 appearances for Netherlands, scoring 21 times in the process.
