Real Salt Lake extended their lead in the MLS Western Conference on Saturday, while Sporting Kansas City lost again.

Winger Bobby Convey opened the scoring for Kansas City with a neat finish on 31 minutes, but the game turned in Chicago's favour just after the hour-mark.

Kansas City's Roger Espinoza was sent off for an elbow on Sebastian Grazzini, who equalised with a penalty on 65 minutes.

Ghanaian forward Dominic Oduro scored the winner nine minutes from time, tapping in after a dreadful error from Kansas City defender Kei Kamara.
