Liga Sagres wrap: Quick double earns Olhanense point

Olhanense scored two second-half goals to draw at Vitoria Guimaraes, while Pacos de Ferreira claimed a crucial win in Liga Sagres on Sunday.

Guimaraes hit the front after just seven minutes when Jonathan Urretavizcaya tapped home a loose ball, after Olhanense's goalkeeper Fabiano dropped a cross.

The home side doubled their lead four minutes before half-time when defender Rodrigo Defendi got to a corner first and powered his header through Fabiano's hands into the net.

But after the break the visitors scored twice in two minutes to ensure a 2-2 draw.

Dady was the first on the scoresheet for Olhanense, when he poked the ball past Nilson in Guimaraes' goal after 54 minutes.

Almost straight after the re-start, Wilson Eduardo stunned Guimaraes with a brilliant equaliser.

A cross came in from the right to the back post and Eduardo struck a powerful volley back across goal, which Nilson could do nothing about.

Pacos de Ferreira has moved six points clear of the relegation zone after they beat Academica 1-0.

El Salvador international striker Arturo Alvarez scored the only goal in the game after just five minutes to move from 13th to 11th on the Portuguese league table.

In the other game on Sunday, Vitoria Setubal came from behind to draw 1-1 with Maritimo.

The fourth-placed club missed a chance to move three points clear of Sporting Lisbon after taking the lead against Vitoria.

Heldon gave Maritimo the lead after 25 minutes but Albert Ze Meyong equalised on 59 minutes and neither side could score a winner in the remaining half hour.
