Chiefs captain wants cup success

Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune has emphasised the importance of winning the Carling Black Label Cup on Saturday.

'Itu' believes beating Orlando Pirates will go a long way in shaping Chiefs' 2012-13 campaign after a rather dismal showing last term which yielded no silverware.

"We can’t lose this cup two times in a row, so there is a lot of work ahead of us because we know our supporters will judge us based on the Pirates game," Khune told Kickoff.com.

"If we win against Pirates then they will feel very confident heading into the new season, but if we lose then it could be a different story.

"We must start on a good note. We have to get our supporters behind us by winning the Black Label Cup," he said.
