Bonai pleased to be in Thailand

BEC Tero Sasana's new Indonesian star signing Titus Bonai said he has wanted to play in the Thai Premier League for a long time.
The 23-year-old recently signed with the Fire Dragons from ISL outfit Persipura Jayapura but has admitted that his new league is not unknown to him as he watched it on television.
"I've wanted to play in Thailand since I watched the Thai Premier League on television," he told reporters.
"Thai players are strong, both in training and matches, and that's what I can learn from them. I give my commitment to BEC Tero Sasana, and I will do my best for my new club."
Tibo's arrival to BEC Tero also has been enthusiastically greeted by the team's general manager Robert Maurer, who is confident about what the new signing will be able to offer the Thai club.
"Titus Bonai is a member of Indonesia's national team who scored a goal into Thailand's net in the Southeast Asian Games," he said.
"He's a player with a bright future and will help team's development, also in terms of marketing."
After moving to Thailand, Bonai has become only the sixth Indonesian player based abroad, with the others being CS Vise's foursome Syamsir Alam, Alfin Tuasalamony, Yericho Christiantoko and Yandi Munawar and Espanyol's prospect Arthur Irawan.
