Pirates agree personal terms with Chinyama

25 July 2012 12:37

Orlando Pirates have offered Zimbabwean striker Takesure Chinyama a three-year contract, but are negotiating a fee with his club Dynamos.

While both Pirates and Zimbabwean outfit Dynamos have refused to reveal Chinyama's price-tag, the two clubs are still locked in discussions in Harare.

"We cannot give out the figures as that might jeopardise the negotiations, but what I can say is the negotiations went well and a deal is on the cards," Dynamos chairman Keni Mubaiwa said, according to KickOff.com.

Chinyama, who has banged in eight goals for Dynamos this season, has already agreed personal terms with the Pirates after impressing during a trial stint.

Zimbabwean media reports suggest the 30-year-old forward, who has also played in Poland, would be paid a monthly salary of 10,000 euros if he signs.

Pirates are looking to bargain for a reasonable transfer fee for Chinyama as they also intend to bolster their ranks with the permanent signing of South Africa striker Tokelo Rantie.
