Lyon to decide Lloris future

Lyon have told goalkeeper Hugo Lloris that they will make a final decision on his future by Sunday.

The France international has been linked with a number of clubs in recent times, including Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, but his current employers are keen to hold on to him.

Club president Jean-Michel Aulas recently said there was a 99 per cent chance that the shot-stopper will remain at the Stade Gerland, and Lloris is expected to find out soon whether or not he will be transferred out of Lyon.

"We have not received any official offers for Lloris," Aulas told France Football.

"I will see Hugo again on Thursday when I arrive in New York. We will make a final decision after the Trophee des champions."

Lyon take on Montepellier in the French Supercup on July 28.
