Rummenigge backs Bayern to respond

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says his team's players will finally 'bite the sausage' this season and win a trophy.
The Bavarians finished the Bundesliga campaign in second place behind Borussia Dortmund and were subsequently beaten by Juergen Klopp's side in the DFB-Pokal final.
And their torrid season was compounded at the Allianz Arena as they lost to Chelsea in the Champions League final to narrowly miss out on three prizes, and end a second season without silverware.
“When you have a sausage pulled away from under your nose, they will eventually snap and bite," he told
Bild.
"I think our players are ready to go, with that reason, if nothing else, motivating them from the start.
"The players have three weeks' vacation. Then the coach (Jupp Heynckes) has four weeks to prepare the team. That is enough."
Bayern Munich get their Bundesliga campaign underway with a trip to newly-promoted Greuther Fuerth on August 24.
