Incheon United have pulled off a coup with the double signing of South Korean 2002 World Cup heroes Kim Nam-Il and Seol Ki-Hyeon.
The veteran pair were officially unveiled as players of former national team boss Huh Jung-Moo's side, who finished the 2011 season in 13th place.
Kim, 34, joins after a spell with Russian club Tom Tomsk, while former Wolverhampton, Fulham and Reading man Seol, 35, arrives from 2011 runners-up Ulsan Hyundai.
The pair both became national heroes during the 2002 World Cup where South Korea reached the semi-finals with Seol netting in the round of 16 victory over Italy, while Kim's defensive performances saw him dubbed 'the Vacuum Cleaner'.
Incheon-born Kim admitted he had weighed up an offer to return to former club Vissel Kobe of Japan but opted to head back to Korea.
"I was hesitant to return because I was afraid of what might happen if I performed badly after having received so much support from fans since the 2002 World Cup," Kim told reporters.
"But it is also tough living overseas, and Huh's genuine interest in me touched me deeply."
Former Anderlecht attacker Seol also praised the role Huh played in bringing him to Incheon.
"Huh really cares about my career, and I will do my utmost to have a good season," Seol said.
"Incheon may not be a contender for the title, but the team can still deliver good results."
