Velez Sarsfield signing Mauro Obolo was delighted following their 3-0 Copa Libertadores win over Guadalajara on Wednesday.
The striker - who signed for the 2011 Clausura champions from Arsenal de Sarandi in January - netted the opening goal in the triumph over their Mexican opponents, propelling them to the top of their Copa group with six points from two games.
Obolo's goal means that he has scored four times in as many matches for Velez, and the 30-year-old was notably rapt with life at the Argentine club.
"Starting with four goals is a dream for me. It is easy to settle at a club when you have players of this class around you," the forward told reporters.
"I am getting used to beating my marker and I am learning certain moves. Before I used to run more, now I have to play in the area and make space so that I can finish off a play."
Obolo started his career at Velez and also had spells in Europe with Piacenza, Burgos and AIK before returning to Argentina with Arsenal in 2010.
