La Liga strugglers Sporting Gijon have named former Spain coach Javier Clemente as the club's new coach.
The 61-year-old will replace caretaker Inaki Tejada, who took over the team following the sacking of Manolo Preciado in early February.
Clemente, who has signed a contract until the end of the season, will officially be presented on Tuesday afternoon.
The Basque-born boss joins Sporting with the difficult task of guiding the club out of the relegation zone, as they sit 19th of 20 teams on the La Liga table with just 19 points from 22 matches.
Clemente, who has also guided Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid and Marseille, among other clubs, will now return to La Liga after a brief spell with the Cameroon national team.
