Out-of-favour defender Marcos Ceara will continue to fight for a place in the Paris Saint-Germain first team.
Since the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti as coach in December, Ceara has found himself relegated to the substitutes bench.
His only start under Ancelotti came in the Coupe de France match against amateur side Sable on January 20.
Ceara, 31, believes he is being frozen out in an attempt to encourage him to move away from the club.
"This is a strategy, for me to blow a fuse and leave," Ceara told France Football.
"It is disappointing, but football has become a business. It focuses on young people who can make money."
After being a first-team regular under previous coach Antoine Kombouare, Brazilian Ceara is disheartened by his new situation.
The fullback said he will continue to try his best, but does not expect to force his way back into contention.
"I will fight to the end to make my way," he said.
"But I know that no matter my efforts in training, nothing will change."
