Siena's Serie A clash with Roma will go ahead as scheduled on Monday, after bad weather put the fixture in doubt.
The recent cold snap that has forced a number of postponements in Italy over the past two weeks also posed a threat to the match scheduled to take place at the Artemio Franchi.
However, the stadium's logistics manager, Fulvio Muzzi, has revealed that there is no danger of the game falling victim to the inclement weather conditions.
"No problems," Muzzi told Calciomercato.com.
"The Franchi is perfect. We checked the state of the pitch: everything seems ok."
"The ground is natural; it never freezes. It has perfect drainage."
Roma can leapfrog Inter into fifth place in Serie A with a win in Siena, while the hosts will be hoping to put five points between themselves and 18th-placed Lecce.
