Standard Liege crushed newly promoted Sporting Charleroi 6-2 in the Belgian First Division on Sunday.
Ron Jans' side were dominant at Stade du Pays de Charleroi, netting three times in the final half-hour to clinch the comfortable win.
The victory helped Standard into fourth on the table after four matches, three points adrift of league leaders Club Brugge.
Imoh Ezekiel opened the scoring in the third minute but Standard were only ahead for three minutes before Harlem Gnohere levelled.
Swedish midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic restored Standard's lead in the 35th minute and things went from bad to worse for Sporting Charleroi soon after.
Slovenian defender Elvedin Dzinic was sent off seven minutes before half-time and Luis Manuel Seijas struck from the penalty spot to give Standard a 3-1 lead.
Mijusko Bojovic pulled one back for the hosts on the hour-mark, but a Yoni Buyens brace and a second goal from Ezekiel wrapped up a comfortable win for the visitors.
