Marino content with Atalanta

Atalanta technical director Pierpaolo Marino has dismissed speculation linking him with Inter Milan, insisting he is happy in Bergamo.

It has been reported that Inter president Massimo Moratti is keen on hiring the 57-year-old, who has previously worked with Napoli, Roma and Udinese.

However, Marino claims he has not been approached by the oil tycoon about taking up a position with Atalanta.

"There has been absolutely no contact with the Nerazzurri," he told Controcampo.

"I have found the ideal environment for myself, with an earnest and old-fashioned president in Antonio Percassi, who is the perfect person to work with."

Atalanta are 11th in Serie A, but would be eighth had they not been docked six points before the season began for their involvement in a match-fixing scandal.
