LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Landon Donovan scored twice late in the second half to give the Los Angeles Galaxy a 2-1 win over DC United on Saturday.
David Beckham made his second appearance of the season for the Major League Soccer's Galaxy, entering the game in the 53rd minute.
Los Angeles (15-5-5) maintained their three-point lead over second-place Real Salt Lake in the Western Conference and overall MLS standings.
Beckham made his first appearance of the season last week against Columbus. He had been out of action for six months since tearing his left Achilles' tendon while playing for AC Milan.
