(GSM) - Tottenham's Wilson Palacios has sensationally admitted he dreams of a future move to Spanish giants Real Madrid. The Honduran might be risking the wrath of his boss Harry Redknapp, who won't be too thrilled with the player's announcement.
The hard-working midfielder has proved his worth since his £12million transfer from Wigan in January 2009. However, he has revealed he sees Tottenham as a stepping stone as he dreams of a future switch to Real Madrid.
And although Tottenham are serious contenders for a top-four Premier League finish, Palacios, 25, has spoken of his desire to move to a "bigger club".
'I am really happy at Tottenham but I will continue working for a future move to a bigger club,' Palacios said in The Sun.'I would love to play for Real Madrid. Today, many people respect me in England. That's because of my hard-working attitude.'
Palacios arrived in the Premier League in 2007 and played for Birmingham City, then Wigan before joining Spurs. He will probably play with Honduras at this summer's World Cup.
