5 January 2010 18:33

(GSM) - Nigeria are set to arrive in Angola on Wednesday as the 15 traveling nations begin to flock for the 2010 African Cup of Nations.

The Super Eagles will become the second team to arrive in Angola, and they will begin a busy week at Angola's airports as they welcome all of the participating nations.

Burkina Faso are the only other nation in Angola, having arrived on 31 December, according to the African Football Confederation (CAF).

CAF also confirmed the arrival dates of several other nations on Tuesday, including the arrival of the hosts late Tuesday night after their camp in Portugal.

Ghana and Algeria, both World Cup qualifiers, are expected in Luanda on Thursday along with Malawi. Mozambique (Friday) and Zambia (Sunday) have also been confirmed along with Group D favorites Cameroon, expected to be in the country on Monday, just two days ahead of their first game with Gabon in Lubango.

The tournament, which begins Sunday when Angola face Mali in Luanda, will crown Africa's football champion and provide five of the nations a great early test ahead of this summer's World Cup.
