Diego Maradona stays postive, despite the painful loss against Paraguay on Wednesday.
Argentina lost its third qualification match in a row on Wednesday against Paraguay: 1-0. Diego Maradona’s squad dropped to the fifth spot in the group and a ticket for South Africa is all but secure.
After the match against Paraguay, Maradona challenged the press: `Bring on the criticism, I can take it,` El Pelusa said.
`I`m used to it, I`ve been getting it since I was fifteen. Now I`m 48, I will keep fighting with the press,` Argentina’s national coach added.
`Of course I thought we`d be on a higher spot by now, but this is the reality. We still have a chance, let`s make the best of it,` Maradona concluded.
