Olympiakos Piraeus are the new leaders in the Greek Super League following a 2-0 win over arch rivals Panathinaikos on Sunday.

For Panathinaikos, a draw would have been enough to defend their top spot while all pressure was on hosts Olympiakos to clinch the victory.

Both goals came from 21-year-old striker Konstantinos Mitroglou, who first found the net in the 45th minute and did so again in the tenth minute after the break.

The win allows the defending champions to move to the top of the Greek league, one point ahead of Panathinaikos.
