Title defenders Rubin Kazan drop points

Defending champions Rubin Kazan could lose their top spot in the Russian league this weekend, following a 2-2 draw at Amkar Perm.
Rubin took the lead through Roman Adamov in the 19th minute but the home side then turned things around through Jean Carlos (27th) and Martin Kushev (pen. 41st). Rubin were on their way to defeat but Sergei Semak secured a point in added time.
CSKA Moscow now have a chance to move into first place but do face a tough challenge against Zenit St Petersburg this Sunday. If Zenit win that game, they would share the lead with Rubin.
FK Moscow drew 1-1 at FK Khimki and remain in third position.
