Second-half goals lead Anderlecht past Beerschot

RSC Anderlecht move back into first place in the Belgian league, at least for the moment, following a 2-0 win over Germinal Beerschot on Sunday.

The Brussels outfit did need more than an hour to break the deadlock, with Marcin Wasilewski scoring the opener on 63 minutes. Matias Suarez added a second just before full time.

Anderlecht have 60 points from 27 matches, two points more than Standard de Liege. The latter could reconquer the lead when they visit Charleroi on Sunday.
