Panathinaikos announce Bjärsmyr signing

Greek side Panathinaikos have announced the signing of Swedish defender Mattias Bjärsmyr from IFK Göteborg.

Media reports in Greece claim that the player costs 450,000 Euros, although neither club unveiled the exact height of the transfer fee.

Bjärsmyr, 23, captained the Swedish Under-21 squad and also played three games for the country's national team.

In the statement, Panathinaikos also revealed that the player signed a contract for four years.
