RVN will go to Lyon or maybe Everton, Tottenham or Blackburn. The Dutch playersare being urged to leave Real.

Sunderland are lucky to have stayed up. Fulham would be a good place for Crouch but I guess Sunderland came into some money.

Mark and Paul, sorry about this, but I think the best reason to be transfered to a different place was expressed by Everton's Australian midfielder Tim Cahill

"Tim Cahill has told friends he fancies a move to Italy or Spain as he is fed up with the rain in England.'

1st Australian to make it big in England was Craig Johnston, important for the Liverpool team in the '80s. http://www.liverpoolpies.tv/craig%20(2).jpg Started out as a ball boy, was sent to England but failed the youth system but stuck it out and became one of their important players.

Tim Cahill is an Australian so he might want sunnier weather, all there is to that.

I've looked at Tim Cahill, doesn't he look a little bit like he might have some Hindu-Indian type of ancestry in him? If he wants to play in the sun so much, he could go back to Australia too. Good luck to him where ever he goes to play.

Anyway, Lucas Neill, Harry Kewell are Australians in the PL. It's hard to know when they come and go.

Robert: Cahill photo: http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/08_01/TimCahillPA_468x549.jpg To me, he looks a bit like a Southern Asian, a Hindu-Indian type.

Craig Johnston: "... became arguably the first Australian to make a major impact in the English game." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craig_Johnston

So, maybe there were Australians before him but apparently, he became a fan favourite.
