Real Mallorca and Athletico de Bilbao are through to the semi finals of the Spanish Copa del Rey, thanks to aggregate wins over Real Betis and Sporting Gijon.
Mallorca beat Betis 1-0 in the first leg, thanks to a second-half goal from Keita Otchico, and a goalless draw was enough for the islanders to secure qualificiation.
After a 0-0 draw in Bilbao last week, the Basques did make a difference in the return leg. Gijón took a very quick lead through Carmelo in the first minute but Igor Gabilondo levelled just before the break.
The winning goal came from David Lopez, seven minutes after the interval.
