´Special One´ is the best coach, says Maradona

Inter Milan´s Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, seen here on January 10, 2009, is the best coach in the world claimed Argentinian national handler Diego Maradona on Tuesday.

ROME (AFP) - Jose Mourinho is the best coach in the world claimed Argentinian national handler Diego Maradona on Tuesday.

Maradona - who is in Milan to watch several of his compatriots play in the Italian Cup clash between Mourinho's Inter Milan and Genoa later on Tuesday - said the coach known as the 'Special One' had everything required of a coach.

"Mourinho is the coach I would have hired had I been president of no matter what club," said the former Argentinian playing legend, who almost single-handedly inspired Argentina to the 1986 World Cup trophy.

"He was the best possible buy (Mourinho arrived as a replacement for Roberto Mancini in the summer of last year) and I also said that to Inter president (Massimo) Moratti when I had the opportunity to do so.

"Jose has everything: he knows how to talk to the players, to the press, and in the dressing room. For me he is the best," added Maradona, who replaced Alfio Basile in early November after a series of disappointing results in their 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

Over the course of a season and in cups he probably is the best coach in the world. Fergie 2nd and arsene wenger 3rd. In the early 2000's Man u won the premier league and clearly didnt have the best talent, fergie is a great coach. Arsene is winning with an extremely young squad and not the most talented team, great coaching job he's doing. But the special one wins everywhere and with everyone

Sir Alex Ferguson has won more trophies than any other manager. He is definitely the number one man coach in the world. People who disagree are shortsighted and clueless about soccer.

As for Maradona, He seems to be an expert at everything these days. Look at his past and make your own mind up about the man's knowledge of life.

How old is Jose?

How old is Fergie?

How long both have been as a coach?

How much both have spent?

To answer above questions you will know who is better.
