Dave Cohen - 7 January 2009 04:56

Chelsea's owner Roman Abramovich

According to the latest financial survey conducted by FourFourTwo magazine, Chelsea’s Russian owner Roman Abramovich is no longer the richest football club owner in Britain.

Abramovich (seven billion Pounds) has dropped from first down to third. He has dropped from almost eleven billion Pounds.

He has been overtaken by Manchester City’s owner Sheik Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan with a wealth of fifteen billion Pounds.

Second place has gone to Queen’s Park Rangers co-owner with Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore, the Indian industrialist Lakshmi Mittal with a personal wealth of twelve-and-a-half billion Pounds.

In spanish media yesterday they said Chelsea is for sale , and in a document about the world crisis they said Roman dropped from 18,5 m pounds to 2,7m pounds !! That's huge really . I can understand that Chelsea are selling many players and not buying any in January .

Rumours say Real Madrid board are interested about Ballack and Chelsea ready to sell . I hope he wont come to Madrid , we need more younger than Ballack , maybe he should go to Milan .

Newtonheath is not dead , he is in Gaza , he went to help his brothers . I really appreciate what Yahya(newtonheath) is doing . He cannot enjoy that evils of ManU scoing 1 goal in a week for 100.000 pounds and his brothers dont have even water to drink . The Glazers must stop gazing Gaza with their money . Newtonheath cant read us , as in Gaza no internet.

Giorgio was shocked too about the hate people feel to italians . But in reality nobody hate them , actually my best friends and funny non spanish I met ever are Claudio and Italo from Italy , so guys take easy we dont hate italians , we hate Milan only :D my brother's favourite team :D

ITalksense, we were waiting for you, the Messiah, to teach us something about soccer. On a more serious note, if human behavior has not changed dramatically in the last 50 years, I can say that fans today behave the same way they always have. They boast when their team wins and grieve when their team loses. What is there to understand about soccer? Would you like every fan to be a tactician like you so that you can call the few of us imbeciles? As far as switching to the other wed site, I for one will decline the offer. I already have my hands full here at Soccerway. Besides, to me . . . . . is the same as a swear word. I never told you this but I’ve lost my hearing!

Sorry to disappoint guys, but I'm still alive and well.

I just don't like the nonsensical comments that are posted on this blog, on a daily basis.

So, I'm giving SoccerWay a break, until things change for the better.

So Ajax is still here, Giorgio alive ,joga following the middle east news these days and not soccer ..Newtonheath anymore ..no show only soccer will ease his pain about what is happening in Gaza , we all pray for children of Gaza but also against killing innocent israelis by hamas. Let's be neutral guys.

Actually, I'm quite agree with ITalkSense, about the slow up-date of SoccerWay. Plus I can't get the latest news for the match preview.

Therefor, I have to visit other websites to get the info i want. I really hope SoccerWay can do something about it, please bring back the match preview info.

How are you getting info on members..seems that recent updates to this site make it impossible to look at other members profiles or view what recent comments they have made about articles on soccerway. Not only that half my original profile has been removed without my knowledge.

Fred,

I can only assume that you posted the obituary at a time when you had one too many !!!

Giorgio, the last time I had a beer was Dec. 10, to celebrate my 67th birthday. The last glass of wine, Jan. 1. I'm looking forward to do the same next year!
