and by the way, I seriously doubt that history starts in the year 1948; I also seriously doubt that Britain have ever had any rightful property rights on any sq. inch of these area which would give them right to parcel something; (beside occupation rights which bellonged also to Persia, Arab tribes, Ottomans, England, Ottomans again etc..) The Land belonged to Palestinians, or Palestine was a land (not a country)where always lived Jews and Muslims. Right now there live Jews and Muslim caled Palestinians are refugee all over the world. As I already wrote it takes long time for anything to settle on that areas, usually a cople centuries, so right now we are witnessing some kind of foreplay. By the end of piece I seriously doubt that Israel will be there in the present shape, it will take many new years to come...

So technically, all that land was just temporary occupied by the Roman Empire for the few centuries and does not belong to the Roman empire, so you wouldn't be able to parcel that land and give it to me or to somebody else.
