Angulo leaves Valencia for Sporting

Miguel Angel Angulo has signed a contract for a year with Portuguese top club Sporting Lisbon.

After twelve years of loyal service Valencia decided to end Angulo’s contract with the Spanish side.

The 32-year-old international was already set for a transfer because of his bad relation with coach Unai Emery and his arguments with the direction about his contract.

Besides Sporting there was also interest from Bolton Wanderers, Everton, Osasuna and Real Zaragoza.

Angulo will sign a contract for a year in Lisbon, with an option for a second season.
