STOKE, England (AFP) - Premier League club Stoke City completed the signing of Middlesbrough forward Tuncay Sanli for five million pounds (5.6 million euros) on Friday.
Turkey captain Tuncay joins former Middlesbrough team-mate Robert Huth at the Britannia Stadium after the Germany defender sealed his switch to Stoke from the Championship club on Thursday for six million pounds (6.8 million euros).
"Tuncay is an exciting player with his pace and skill who will certainly get the crowd going," Stoke manager Tony Pulis said.
