IFK Göteborg recovered from last week's defeat by Helsingborg, crushing Djurgardens IF 6-0 to move into third place in the Swedish league.

Göteborg dominated right from the start, with early goals from Stefan Selakovic and Robin Söder. Tobias Hysen went on to score two more to give the hosts a comfortable 4-0 lead by half time.

Icelandic defender Ragnar Sigurdsson added another in the 84th minute and Pontus Wernbloom made it 6-0 a few minutes later.

IFK Göteborg won the Allsvenskan in 2007 but finished third in last year's edition of Sweden's top flight.
