Georgios Savvides has stepped down as AC Omonia coach after just three months in charge at the Cypriot Division A club.

The 47-year-old former Omonia player leaves with the team lying third in the standings, 14 points adrift of leaders Anorthosis Famagusta FC, whom they lost to 2-0 last Wednesday. Assistant coach Nedim Tutiæ will take charge until a permanent replacement is found.
