EINDHOVEN, Apr 4 (SW) - Whether PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Gómes will form part of the first team during the next few weeks remains to be seen. The Brazilian will be undergoing medical tests on Friday.
Heurelho Gómes had to come off the pitch in the second half of the UEFA Cup quarter final with Fiorentina on Thursday, seemingly suffering from a calf injury.
If it turns out that the PSV favorite cannot take part in the three remaining Eredivisie matches and whichever UEFA Cup matches are yet to be played, his likely replacement is Bas Roorda.
Roorda entered play on Thursday and made some good saves to give his team renewed confidence.
"He seemed calm. That's good for the group and a compliment to Bas as well," said PSV manager Sef Vergoossen.

Fortunately the injury isn't bad and Gomes might be playing this Sunday already. He will defintely be there in the next match, when we will beat Fiorentina at home with 3-0 :)
