Ailton

ALTACH (SW) - Brazilian striker Ailton has been fined by Austrian side SCR Altach after accusing his fellow teammates of a lack of professionalism.

Ailton did apologize for what he said, but the fine was maintained.

The player, born in 1873, represented several major sides in the past, such as Werder Bremen and Schalke 04, but had his career go downhill in recent years.

Since 2006, Ailton played for Hamburg, Red Star, Grasshopper, Duisburg and Metalurh Donetsk before joining Altach this year. Since the start of the 2007-08 season, the Brazilian scored only two goals in nine games.

I wonder if he could be having weight problems, not that that is always something important, I mean look at Gazza: but a bit round in the face and it looks like a bit of a tummy though you can't tel exactly from a photograph.

Looks like he's showing a stiff-arm move for american football.
