HELSINKI (SW) - Miroslav Klose helped Germany to a hard fought draw in Finland, who took the lead in no less than three occasions only to allow an equaliser each time.
The forty thousand fans at Helsinki's Olympic stadium watched as their team took the lead in the 32nd minute. Johansson struck past goalkeeper Enke from just over ten meters to open the score.
But Miroslav Klose levelled just a few minutes later, winning a battle with Hyypia before netting the 1-1.
Mika Vayrinen made it 2-1 in the 43rd minute but Klose again reacted by scoring a second equaliser just before half time.
Sjolund restored Finland's lead in the 53rd minute with a header after preparing work from Vayrinen, but Klose refused to give up and scored yet another equaliser in the 83rd minute. This time a shot from short range was enough to earn the Germans at least one point.
