Arsenal’s striker Emmanuel Adebayo has refused to play in 2010 World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Zambia.
Adebayor refused to fly out with the team after Tata Avlessi Adaglo, President of the Togolese Football Federation had not agreed to fly with the team earlier today.
The reason given by Adaglo was that he had to prepare for his mother’s funeral.
Adebayo was the only player who never made the trip.
The team also remains without a coach after Frenchman Henri Stambouli had resigned last week after only four months in charge.
