Real Betis´ Sobis joins Al-Jazeera Dubai

MADRID (AFP) - Real Betis' Brazilian international Rafael Sobis has joined United Arab Emirates-side Al-Jazeera Dubai in a deal worth 11 million euros (15.9 million dollars), the Spanish club said Friday.

The 23-year-old striker, who joined Real Betis in August 2006, signed with Al-Jazeera for five season, Real Betis said in a statement.

"In this way a request of the coach is met and Sobis's time at Real Betis is brought to an end," the club said.

Sobis scored eight goals in 57 appearances for Real Betis in the Spanish leagye during his two season with the club.
