Toothless Gornik part ways with coach Wieczorek
ZABRZE (SW) - Ryszard Wieczorek is the first coach fired in the Ekstraklasa this season. Gornik Zabrze haven't scored a goal this season gaining only one point in four matches.
This weekend Gornik hosted Legia Warsaw who were earlier eliminated from the UEFA Cup. Chinyama and Szalachowski scored in the first half, Roger added a third in the second.
On Monday, the club announced the removal of Wieczorek from his post. According to media speculations his successor will be Marcin Brosz, who coaches second division side Podbeskidzie. Gornik are the only team without a win in the league.
