AMSTERDAM (SW) - Arsenal forward Robin van Persie is fit in time to form part of the Dutch national selection for its coming two games.
Van Persie injured his ankle during the Premiership match with Newcastle last Saturday, but tests pointed out that the player should not need long to recover.
The Netherlands play a friendly match with Australia in Eindhoven next Saturday, followed by their first World Cup qualifier against FYR Macedonia four days later.
Another small doubt is PSV midfielder Ibrahim Affelay, who trained apart from the rest of the selection on Tuesday due to a minor ankle injury.
