Lucas Neill wants a new contract at The Hammers

Australian and Newcastle United defender Lucas Neill

Thirty year old Australian and West Ham United defender is keen to have an extension on his West Ham United contract.

His current contract expires next summer and he is hoping that he can see out his playing days with the east London club.

He added that the introduction of a new manager has injected enthusiasm into the club.
