Benfica turn things around against Napoli
Nuno Gomes scored Benfica's second goal
LISBON (SW) - Benfica Lisbon overcame a first leg defeat by SSC Napoli to make it through to the next round in the UEFA Cup.
Napoli had won their home leg 3-2 but couldn't compete with the Portuguese in Lisbon.
Spaniard Juan Antonio Reyes put Benfica in the lead after 57 minutes. A 1-0 win would have been enough to advance on away goals.
But Benfica preferred to rule out any negative surprises by netting a second through veteran Nuno Gomes with seven minutes left.
