Nicklas Bendtner helped Arsenal to the next round

ISTANBUL/LONDON (SW) - A late goal from Nicklas Bendtner earned Arsenal a ticket to the next round of the Champions League. FC Porto have secured their spot in the round of sixteen as well.

A draw at Arsenal versus Dynamo Kyiv would have left all possibilities opened in this group but Bendtner gave the Gunners the goal they craved in the 87th minute.

Dynamo's Aliyev picked up a second yellow card two minutes later, leaving the Ukrainians without strength and motivation to chase the equaliser.

Lisandro Lopez was the big hero for Porto in Turkey, scoring in the 19th and 28th minute to give the Portuguese visitors a comfortable lead.

Kazim Kazim did something back in the 63rd minute but the hosts failed to net a second.

Arsenal and Porto qualify for the next round, while Fenerbahe still have a small chance of making it to the UEFA Cup as they meet with Dynamo on the final match day.
