Cameroon´s Eto´o stays behind at Barca

Barcelona´s Cameroonian Samuel Eto´o, seen here on November 8, 2008, and who was to play in a friendly match for Cameroon against South Africa, was instead at team training Wednesday, the club said.

MADRID (AFP) - Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o, who was to play in a friendly match for Cameroon against South Africa, was instead at team training Wednesday, the club said.

"The first team returned to training on Wednesday afternoon... Samuel Eto'o had originally been destined for a Cameroon friendly in South Africa, but in the end, has stayed at home," it said in a statement.

South Africa beat Cameroon 3-2 Wednesday in the Nelson Mandela challenge match played at Rustenberg.

Eto'o is currently the top scorer in the Primera Liga, with 13 goals in 11 matches.

Barca top the table with a three-point lead over Villarreal after their 2-0 win at Huelva on Sunday.

i dont understand this, live the so called Etoo for good, if you dont want to represent your country, let him be, live hi out of the would cup as well, finish
