Torres won it because he scored 30 in his first EPL season unlike Ronaldo who took longer to finally adapt.

As arrogant as Ronaldo is..he scored 42 goals, won the Premier League, won the Champions League and scored a goal in the final (albeit missing a pen too)....Torres won *£($-all :s

...Not even as a striker don't forget. Torres is a striker and the focal point of Pool. I rest my case.

Are you saying that Ronaldo's supporting cast is on par with what Torres had to work with? C'mon seriously ...apart from Gerard, LFC does not have the bench and starting 11 that United does. If you need confirmation that the supporting cast DOES in fact matter, just review some footage of this summer's Euro Cup competition and compare Torres' performance to Ronaldo's. Trust me I am Portuguese and love Ronaldo's skill and soccer genius, but he isn't a guy that can do as much as Torres without the supporting cast is all I am saying....plus as I mentioned earlier, Ronaldo took 4 seasons to get the 42, and Torres in Season 1 got 30. Just imagine how many he will score in season 4 in the EPL
