PSV lose to NEC Nijmegen, NAC Breda win

NIJMEGEN (SW) - PSV Eindhoven suffered their fourth defeat of the season at NEC Nijmegen, who themselves move into fifth place in the Eredivisie.

Peter Wisgerhof put NEC ahead after just twelve minutes at De Goffert stadium, and PSV never managed to find the equaliser.

Thanks to this result, NEC are now fifth in the Eredivisie with 18 points from ten games. PSV are still fourth but pressure will begin to mount on manager Huub Stevens.

Joint league leaders NAC Breda visited De Graafschap and needed until the 74th minute to open the score through Amoah, who would also net a second in injury time.

AZ Alkmaar will need a win against FC Twente on Sunday to catch up with NAC.
