VfB Stuttgart's bid to secure a European qualifying place in Germany has been hampered by an injury which rules defender Serdar Tasci out of their two remaining games.

The 21-year-old will miss Stuttgart's matches against VfL Wolfsburg and DSC Arminia Bielefeld after tearing his right thigh during Tuesday's 3-2 defeat at BV Borussia Dortmund. It was his 21st appearance of the campaign. Stuttgart sit fifth in the Bundesliga, on course for UEFA Cup qualification.
