Real Zaragoza have only one chance left to avoid relegation, and that chance will be against Real Mallorca on Sunday. A win and some luck will be needed to spend another season in the top flight.
Zaragoza achieved rather fluctuating results in recent games, but a 2-2 draw with Real Madrid last week allows the team to keep hoping.
If Zaragoza - 18th in the league - win, they still depend on results at several other matches. Real Valladolid, Recreativo Huelva and Osasuna might still end up moving down a level after this season.
Mallorca are battling for a UEFA Cup spot. Currently in seventh place, the islanders have been showing a great shape as of late, with five consecutive victories in La Liga.
